Clay Boyd

Biography

Clay grew up in Creedmoor, North Carolina and was raised in a largely Christian environment. Through the faithful witness of his family and church, he came to know the Lord at a young age. As Clay entered college at UNC Charlotte in 2019, his faith was greatly helped by this college ministry — which he was able to help establish — as well as the local church. Upon graduating in 2021, he began to sense a call to ministry and eventually enrolled at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest. Currently, Clay serves on staff with the campus ministry at OBC and is passionate about seeing Charlotte students engage with God's Word and learn to follow him in obedience. His desire is to see a campus full of lost souls reached by the gospel of Jesus Christ and his church!
