Samuel Huxford

Board Member

Samuel Huxford

Sam was born in the Dominican Republic and lived there until age four, when his family moved to Miami. It was there, while attending a Baptist church, that the Lord graciously saved him at the age of 11. During his college years, his understanding of the gospel deepened through involvement in his local church and with the Navigators at Florida State University. It was also during this time that his love for ministry grew and he met his wife, Jen. They were married after graduating in 2014.

Sam and Jen joined staff with the Navigators and have served faithfully for over 12 years, most recently with Sam serving as the Campus Director at Florida International University. He is passionate about discipling college students and longs to see the gospel spread on college campuses, throughout Miami, and around the world. In addition to his campus ministry work, Sam has joyfully served as a lay elder at Kendall Baptist Church. He and Jen have four wonderful, energetic children.

Jonathan Morgan

Board Member

Jonathan Morgan

Jonathan is originally from Chantilly, Virginia. He came to faith in Jesus as a freshman at Coastal Carolina University where he played football. In 2012 Jonathan moved back to the DC area and began to serve in full-time ministry in 2014 with Campus Outreach as the Campus Director of Howard University in Washington, D.C. In 2017 he was called by the members of Capitol Hill Baptist Church to serve as a lay elder. In the Fall of 2020 Jonathan completed the pastoral internship program at CHBC, which also completed his MDiv from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Jonathan is married to his wife, Chelsea, and they have three children. In his free time he enjoys reading and CrossFit.

Isaac Stiles

Board Member

Isaac Stiles

Isaac was born in Lexington, Kentucky where he spent his younger years before his parents were called to the mission field. When his parents moved overseas Isaac thought they were crazy for serving a God who demanded so much. It was not until his senior year of high school while reading 1 Corinthians 15 that Isaac was broken by his sin and turned to faith in Jesus Christ — the only one who offers life and hope.

Isaac attended the University of Louisville, receiving his undergrad and graduate degrees in industrial engineering. He worked as an engineer for 9 years before feeling the call to ministry. He and his wife, Stephanie, came on staff with Across Campus in 2023. Isaac is a member of Third Avenue Baptist Church and desires others' hearts and lives to be shaped and changed by the gospel.

Jonathan White

Board Member

Jonathan White

Jonathan was born and raised in western Montana. He was saved in middle school, but it wasn't until he got to college in California that he experienced intentional, gospel-shaped discipleship through a campus ministry. He met and married his wife Joy during college and they came on staff with the ministry after graduating in 2012, where they served for about 8 years.

The Lord led them to move their family home to Montana at the beginning of 2021 to lead the campus ministry staff and be part of what God is doing at the University of Montana through Sovereign Hope Church, where Jonathan now also serves as a lay elder. He loves sharing Christ with and discipling college students, particularly in the context of the local church. He and Joy have 3 young kids.
